KLONDIKE DERBY CHECK-IN PROCEDURES
Upon arrival, you will be met by a member of the staff. This staff member will direct you to your troops campsite. You may begin setting up camp immediately upon arrival. It is strongly recommended that your unit provide some sort of perimeter line, with flagging tape. Units may begin checking in at 1:00 p.m. on Friday. Do not ask to arrive any earlier, well, you can arrive, but you cannot start setting up till 1:00. Thank you for your understanding.
One adult from each unit should report to Headquarters as soon after arrival as is possible. This leader should be prepared with the following:
Tour Permit
Proof of Insurance (if not from the Daniel Boone Council)
Patrol Rosters
Youth Protection Certification for the Leader In Charge
Unit Health Forms
Actual Number Count
Payment (if any) that is due
It is very important that all your units event judges be at the meeting on Friday night. The actual judge, not a unit representative, must be in attendance.
